Just couldn't imagine I can (finally) get into a tunnel under construction!
And had a chance to take a look at the installation of TBM inside the tunnel

Lucky us...
(If works was in progress then we couldn't get a chance visiting inside!)

...I was just thrilled!!! :)

Tunneling is a very special stream in the field of geotechnical engineering and geology plays a major role in order to understand the effect of ground (soil & rock) due to tunneling works.

Hope I can have an opportunity working in tunneling projects later on, even it will only be the design aspect of the project...
